Why loops beat long runs
Emberfall Horizon regenerates most gatherable nodes every in-game day. A short, repeatable loop near camp will outproduce a single long expedition over the course of a week.
A reliable early loop
This loop takes about four in-game hours round trip once you know it.
- Start at camp, harvest the two timber stands just outside the palisade.
- Continue to the stream for fiber reeds and a waterskin refill.
- Loop back past the collapsed watchtower cache on the way home for a warmth charm every other day.
- Bank spare resources in the camp chest rather than carrying them — carried weight slows Stamina regen.
